The waitress is painting the inside, and they have built an addition with a brand new kitchen. It's going to be awesome when finished.

I met so many people there who grew up vacationing on Drummond, then moved there after retirement. Sounds like a great idea to me!Peace in a Tin Canhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15916688993177641832noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4198566479097576533.post-42185605877437078142012-04-04T17:02:53.314-04:002012-04-04T17:02:53.314-04:00I, too, love the people of Drummond. About twelve years ago I started taking my family there on annual fall hiking and hunting trips. We spend the better part of November on the island! If you are ever there over the Thanksgiving holiday make sure you eat your Thanksgiving Day meal at Chuck's Place. It is one of the days I look forward to most every year!

You are spot on about the people. They are genuinely friendly and love their island. My wife and I love it there so much we often talk about moving there once we enter retirement. It is truly a paradise to us!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
